Me fascina la idea de mezclar prints; esta técnica me parece súper interesante pues me permite crear armonías con mis elementos favoritos en cuanto a moda se refiere, pero bueno ese no es el tema...
Hoy yo les quiero hablar específicamente de la figura Reloj de arena, si esa misma que vimos por allá en los años donde se utilizaban grandes vestidos y cinturillas súper ajustadas; sin embargo esto se ha ido modernizando sino me creen miren como Dior en 1950 trajo de nuevo esta figura pero menos barroca; esa figura caracterizó el estilo lady like de esta época, en la actualidad también estamos viendo esta figura que es considerada por los asesores de moda profesionales como aquella que tiene las medidas perfectas por ser totalmente proporcional y me es imposible hablar de esto sin mencionar a mi adorada casa de moda Balmain de las cual ya les había hablado y mencionado que dirige Olivier Rousteing el cual se ha dado a la tarea de reconstruir la silueta perfecta con grandes hombreras y anchos cinturones.
En mi caso creé este total look basado en 3 tendencias del otoño: Army, animal print y por supuesto leather... Y como ustedes saben que me encanta dar un toque “divertido” jaja así le digo yo, agregué este clutch rojo vino que va en perfecta armonía con el parche de mi army skirt (trend alert: este efecto DIY con parches y tachas es un must de esta temporada, marcas como D&G lo han hecho presente en sus pasarelas).
Retomando lo de esta silueta; Si buscas crear este efecto lo ideal es que tomes en cuenta primero tu tipo de cuerpo y segundo los elementos que utilizarás para lograrla, toma nota:
1. Cinturón ancho: es un must, increíble el cambio que da tu silueta y las piezas con este elemento (en mi foto pueden ver el efecto que logra)
2. Hombros: Esta figura se caracteriza por tener hombros rectos sin embargo nosotros en su mayoría tenemos los hombros en forma de 8 o sea, ovalados por lo que las hombreras nos ayudarán a vemos más simétricos.
3. Volumen: Esto es algo básico volumen arriba, volumen debajo prensar en el centro y voìla... Reloj de arena al instante.
4. Consejos: Recuerda utilizar ropa interior adecuada sino se armara un pequeño desastre, conoce tus límites y tus oportunidades.
Bueno chicas espero hayan disfrutado este look tanto como yo, como siempre mi mayor consejo es que se arriesguen y ser diviertan mientras lo hacen.

Today I want to talk about the hourglass fashion trend. Yes the same mystique figure seen in past years, where oversized clothing items were drape over figures and tied by belts to create the hourglass concept; this look is now being modernized by Balmain, one of my favorite fashion house. Oliver Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain has taken the task of creating the perfect silhouette by adding big shoulder pads and wide belts to his latest collections.
In my case I created this total look based on three autumn trends: Military, Animal Print and Leather. As you may know, I find it chic to give my outfits a special touch. For this look, I added the red clutch, which works in harmony with the military patch jacket (trend alert: this patched effect on fashion items will be a must next season, brands such as D&G are incorporating this technique in their collections).
Going back to the silhouette, if you want to create this effect, I suggest to take into account your body type first and second the elements that you will use to achieve it. Here are some tips:
1. Wide Belt: A key piece that gives your body the hourglass silhouette and also works well with the elements (you can see that effect in my pictures).
2. Shoulders: Straight shoulders characterized this figure, however, we either have an 8 or oval shape. Then the shoulders pads help us seem more symmetrical.
3. Caution: Ladies remember to wear appropriate underwear to avoid a small disaster.
