Hello guys, how you all are doing well. I want to take this opportunity to talk about self-love. This post is a bit more personal, and I hope you take these words and find some inspiration. I wanted to share more about myself and why I’m feeling more confident, empowered to achieve those things that I wish to, and overall happier. As a kid, I moved and lived in many different places; I grew up in different environments. This constant exposure to new things created a sense of instability in my persona, which I’m still working on. Along this journey, I’ve experienced a variety of things; some are good, and others were not, and it’s somewhat funny because many of my friends tell me that I should write a book.. lol well, here is a short blog post.
There have been many things that have affected me, especially with social media. In the past, there were moments where I felt super insecure, vulnerable, weak, and even scared to express certain aspects of myself. Now, I do realize that I should not felt that way. But, I started to work on me by giving self-love, seeking help when I felt lost, and the DMs and comments that I frequently received bring a smile to my face. I’m feeling much better, this journey is not done, and I can work on plenty of things. I’m not perfect, but I feel like I’ve reached a milestone at this moment in my life. I want to celebrate this occasion with this gorgeous milestone collection by Le Vian, I do deserve this jewelry, and that right there is the attitude that one must-have. You should treat yourself with whatever brings a smile to your face, and at that moment, you’ll say, wow, I made it.
I’m very open with you guys, but in honesty, that’s how I feel. I do have a problem trusting people in general, but there has to be a will to change when you seek a better you. So I’m trying to believe more in people. We can’t be entirely happy if there’s no trust. One must take a risk and give a change to opportunities and people in your life to get rid of that fear and overcome it.
I realize and know that I don’t share a lot of my personal life on social media. As you can see, it was due to things that made me feel insecure and scared. I’m planning to open up more with you all; please understand that this is a process. Thank you for your support, kind words, and sometimes negative feedback because we are not always right. I know that it is part of the progress, and I’m willing to listen and learn. I feel grateful to have a community like ours.
