The United Kingdom is the home of fine taste and protocols, not to mention the fact that great designers like Alexander McQueen and Sarah Burton are from this country that has always had a great influence on fashion, while maintaining an unmatched neat aesthetic. The truth is that we can't talk about English fashion without mentioning the Burberry brand, which has been on the market for more than 150 years and has positioned itself as the "real brand" for gentlemen around the world.
The Haymarket check pattern (red, white and black stripes forming frame on a cream base), the "trench" coat are known worldwide icons that make direct reference to which for years has been the home of everyday elegance. Taking advantage of a season filled with monochromatic, we decided to take inspiration from this British aesthetic and form our own interpretation of a timeless elegant outfit.
Winston: with a classier style than the ones used by the Londoners, whom walk the rainy streets of London, I decided to wear a suit with a subtle pattern and a cream based color. #TIP; The classic aesthetic of a gentlemen suit MUST always match the jacket and pants, these also pertains to the color and pattern. To complement my look, I opted for a high-neck sweater to give it a modern European air.
Roxana: I adapted the English modern aesthetic; Inspired by the uniforms that were used to go out to practice traditional fox hunting in the UK. The outfit consist of shorts with pattern, knee high boots, beige turtleneck sweater and a camel over coat. A final touch of red lipstick could never be left out...
An interesting point about fashion, is the for us Glam + Dapper every style and outfit we wear tells a story. Together we can create a new ensemble after each post, it's like writing a book and each look is a page.

El Reino Unido es la casa del buen gusto y el protocolo, sin mencionar que grandes diseñadores como Alexander Mcqueen y Sara Burton son oriundos de este país que siempre ha tenido gran influencia en la moda manteniendo una estética de pulcritud inigualable, lo cierto es que no podemos hablar de moda inglesa sin mencionar la marca Burberry; la cual lleva más de 150 años en el mercado y que se ha posicionado como la “marca real” de todos los Caballeros del mundo.
Su estampado haymarket check (rayas rojas, blancas y negras que forman cuadros sobre una base crema), el trench y la gabardina son iconos conocidos a nivel mundial que hacen referencia directa a la que por años ha sido la casa de la elegancia diaria, aprovechando la temporada y la tendencia de outfits monocromáticos decidimos inspirarnos en esta estética para nuestro look of the day:
Winston: Con una línea más clásica de lo que es el caballero que recorre las lluviosas calles de Londres; decidí tomar un Suit a cuadros sutiles con fondo crema, en la estética clásica siempre, siempre el traje se lleva completo, debe ser uniforme en color y estampado, decidí agregar un sueter en cuello de tortuga que agrega un aire europeo moderno, perfecto para la temporada aparte de ser súper funcional en nuestro guardarropa.
Roxana: yo adapté la estética moderna inglesa; inspirándome en los uniformes que se utilizaban para salir a practicar la tradicional caza de zorros en Reino Unido. Short en suede, botas altas y gabardina inglesa me acompañan en tonalidades beige, el blanco se ve reflejado en mi top cuello de tortuga y un toque de rojo obligatorio en el labial.
Cada estilo y cada atuendo trae consigo una historia, una inspiración y esto es lo interesante de la moda y para nosotros lo curioso de juntos crear un nuevo relato tras cada entrega, es como escribir un libro y cada look es una página. Esperamos lo hayan disfrutado tanto como nosotros.
