Hello guys, as some of you might know we recently had the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Lisbon in Portugal. The fun adventure was thanks to our partnership with TAP Air Portugal airline and their excellent stopover program which we'll tell you all about it in this post, so you can take advantage and visit two destinations for the price of one.
Our journey began at JFK airport, via TAP Air Portugal airline. The overall experience of the flight was lovely due to their friendly and attentive flight attendants. We love airplane food ... lol, and we can honestly say that TAP Air Portugal is one of the best we ever had. Another astonishing thing we liked about the flight was that it only took about 6 hours to get there so after a delicious dinner and a movie you're more than halfway there.
While in Lisbon, we stayed at the As Janelas Verdes hotel, this property spoke so much to our aesthetic: its charming boutique design was perfect, it’s central location helped us move easier around the city plus the daily delicious breakfast and staff added to the overall wonderful experience. All in all, a gem, rich in unique décor which was excellent for our photos… Regarding Lisbon, we honestly had a blast, the city was clean, the people were friendly, and all seem to speak several languages which are always a plus in our book - especially when you travel abroad. After we visited many different landmarks such as the Belem Tower, Miradouro De Santa Luzia, and the Praca Do Comercio we also look into the local cuisine which was tasty and fresh with a full variant of local seafood. All these sites are excellent for photos, to have a meal and to learn more about the city and culture. Outside of Lisbon, we took a tour to visit Sintra, Cascais and Cabo de la Roca which are great attractions to enhance further your overall experience in Portugal.

The perks of the program were ideal for an unforgettable adventure that can last from one day to five days, and it doesn't matter if you start your stopover in Lisbon like us or in Porto which from our research is another beautiful city in Portugal. All in all, you can customize your trip and maximize your time to discover this amazing country.
Travelling helps you to know the past, understand the present and improve the future.
